KAI-YUEN is embroiled in a money laundering case. MAN-FAI asks CHIT-HANG to be the defense barrister for KAI-YUEN. On the other hand, MEI-CHING gradually lets go of the past and becomes friends with LAP-FUN. SHING-YEE seems to have a lot of money suddenly after the kidnapping case of CHING-WAH and LAP-FUN is suspicious. CHIT-HANG carries out investigation on KAI-YUEN's case and he checks out the past newspaper clippings related to the councilor and the gang leader KWONG KING-CHEONG.
