When Dallas mysteriously disappears, Scandal and Danielle reluctantly agree to see a laywer's client who is scheduled to be executed in two days for killing his pop star girlfriend. Scandal becomes convinced the man is innocent, but Dallas shows up and tries to stop their investigation because he was the officer of record at the man's original arrest.
